Once a month from April 2018 onwards, the Sunday walk will be a length of the Warwickshire Centenary Way. This 100-mile linear walk was established by Warwickshire County Council to celebrate its 100th anniversary as a local government administrative authority as opposed to a purely historical county. It was officially opened in July 1991.
The route crosses the whole county from north to south, starting at Kingsbury Water Park and ending at Upper Quinton. The section passing through Stratford District Council was way-marked by members of Stratford Ramblers who also walked the whole 22-mile section in one day in July 2009.
Sunday walks will be between 8.5 and 11.5 miles.
We meet at 9.30 a.m. at the end of each section then share cars back to the start. Because of this, these walks are really not suitable for dogs.
