Stratford Ramblers Walks

p1060310scale

The walks listed in these pages are led by volunteer members of the Stratford-upon-Avon Group of the Ramblers. Whilst these walks are primarily intended for members of the Ramblers, non-members are welcome to join us as guests on two or three walks. If you wish to walk with the group regularly, you will be expected to join the Ramblers.

In this part of the country, most walks involve crossing agricultural land which can be muddy at any time of the year, and in the winter months it can be very muddy indeed. So be prepared for heavy conditions underfoot. Walking boots are essential.

Unless otherwise stated, full walks on a Wednesday stop at a pub for the lunch break. However, many of our members prefer to bring their own picnic lunch and just have a drink in the pub. Walks usually have a brief mid-morning break, so bring along light refreshments for "elevenses".

Walks start promptly at the stated time, so arrive in good time to make yourself known to the leader.  Dogs are not allowed on mid-week walks.

Please note that, in accordance with the Ramblers safeguarding policy, walkers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
